Yes, there are plenty of opportunities in the Canadian trucking industry. According to the Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council, the demand for AZ drivers is expected to keep rising. In 2014, the trucking industry had a shortage of 38,000 drivers, which was expected to grow to nearly 48,000 by the end of 2015. If this trend continues, the shortage could reach 175,000 by 2024. Over the next decade, the industry will need to hire 890,000 new drivers, or about 89,000 per year. The main reason for this need is replacing retiring drivers, which makes up almost half of new hires, with industry growth accounting for the rest. In conclusion, there are strong prospects for a rewarding career in the trucking industry. Our Tractor Trailer Driver training program is well-regarded by employers and insurers, providing the skills you need to start your career as a Commercial AZ Driver.
